Ken Visocky O’Grady is an Assistant Professor of Visual Communication Design. He holds his BS/MFA from Kent State University.
In addition to his teaching duties, Ken is a Principal at the Enspace, a company that he co-founded in 1998 with his wife Jennifer. Enspace's list of clients includes HOW MAgazine, Rockport Publishers, Rotovision Publishers, University Circle Incorporated, Burges and Burges Strategies, Faber Castelle, Pentair Incorporated, The Orthopedic Institute of the Great Lakes, and the City of Cleveland.
His work has been featured in PRINT’s 1999, 2004, and 2005 Regional Design Annuals, PRINT’s 2001 Interactive Design Annual, and HOW Magazine’s 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 Self Promotion Annuals as well as HOW's 2004 and 2005 International Annuals. His firm also was included in a feature article in HOW’s 2002 Type and Trends issue. In 2004, Enspace was featured in an 8 page article in HOW's Business Annual.
In addition to being recognized by various publications, Ken has won awards from The University College and Designers Association, the Cleveland Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the Akron Club of Printhouse Craftsman, and the Printing Association of Northern Kentucky and Ohio.
Ken served on the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Chapter of the AIGA as Education Chair for five years, and held a seat on the AIGA National Education Community of Interest Steering Committee for two years.
